Our Dress Code

Our wedding will blend modern elegance with rich cultural tradition, and we invite you to celebrate with us in style.

Attire

Spring Formal or Owambe

Guests are welcome to wear refined formal wear or traditional attire that reflects our shared cultural heritage. Think soft, polished, and celebratory — a balance of elegance and cultural pride.

Color Palette

We are embracing a soft spring palette. If you’d like inspiration, we recommend:

  • Lavender

  • Blush / Baby Pink

  • Pastel Yellow

  • Mint or Sage Green

  • Dusty Rose

  • Powder Blue

  • Nude / Taupe tones (not too close to ivory or champagne)

Please kindly avoid white, ivory, champagne, and gold, as these shades are reserved for the couple.

Headwear (Fila & Gele)

To make your look complete, we are offering fila and gele for guests who wish to pair traditional headwear with their chosen attire — whether English formal or native fabrics.
